OUR RACE TRUCK |
This is a 1975 Chevy 1/2 ton short box pickup set up for drag racing
in the NHRA Super Street, Super Gas, and Super Pro classes. The engine
is a 433cid Chevy Big Block with Dart Pro 1 aluminum heads, Manley
aluminum rods, steel crank, Arias 7.1 pistons, and a 690 lift roller
cam. On top is a Dyers 6-71 supercharger driven 25% over and an Enderle
injector on racing gas. The transmission is a Hughes powerglide with
a 4500 stall converter, the rear is a Ford 9 inch with 4:88.1 gears.
The truck bedsides are removable along with the front clip. |

Finally back on the track! Nice easy
3/4 pass at a 6.54 in the 1/8 at 104 and a 10.48 at 103mph in the
quarter. |

hauler.
