540 ci Big Block Chevy, Kobelco Superman Hi Helix 18-71 with DMPE mods.
JBR Carbon fiber hat.
Capable of producing 43 psi boost.

ANY BIG MODS OR BUILDS GOING ON DURING THE OFF SEASON:

1. Change from Iron block to Aluminum
2. Increase compression ratio
3. MSD Magneto

HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH AUTOMOBILES/MOTORSPORTS:

I remember when I was about 6 or 7 years old, my Dad told me, “ I wouldn’t own a car that won’t go 100 miles an hour!” My passion for Hot Rods has never eased up since!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED WITH AUTOMOBILES/MOTORSPORTS:

40 years

WHAT IS YOUR WORST CAR/RACING/MOTORSPORTS RELATED MEMORY:

19 years old, married, lots of bills to pay,,,, had to sell my 1967 Mustang to keep the electricity on in my apartment.

WHAT IS YOUR BEST CAR/RACING/MOTORSPORTS RELATED MEMORY:

Road trip with my wife and a buddy, we went to Thibodaux, Louisiana to purchase a tube chassis 1970 Camaro. Had a great time on that trip and made lots of memories.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER HOBBIES OR PASSIONS:

Riding my Harley, Deer Hunting, Camping

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT AUTOMOBILES/MOTORSPORTS:

The smell of a burning drag slick, the smell of burning race fuel, the look of a classic muscle car with huge tires and big engines, memories made building Hot Rods and racing them with family and friends, my wife (Angela Lair) telling me she is proud of me and my accomplishments when I build a cool Hot Rod! Seeing my wife get excited because race weekend is coming up!

Never Give up on your dreams! I almost gave up on this build several times during the four years
I spent building it. Now I thank God and my wife every day for not letting me!
