THE FUTURE FREEDOM ROCKS SUPER COMP/TOP SPORTSMAN/PROMOD BLOWN ALCOHOL OUTLAW DRAG RACING TRUCK
We
brought it home summer of 2006 and started on the rear fenders. Trying
to graft together the bedside, wheel tubs and fender into one piece,
part of the wheel tub is now part of the fender. We are trying to keep
the truck look as much as possible.

1937
Chevy Pro Mod front clip based off Gary Irving's Hot N Nasty 37 Chevy
Nitro Coupe. Standard pickup cab chopped 4 inches with standard size
bed sides and fenders, all fiberglass. Chrome Moly double rail tube
chassis built to 6.0 second rules. Most of the parts for the chassis
are from Tim McAmis or Strange with a few from Quarter Max. Ford nine
inch rearend with 40 spline floating axles, 4:30 gear ratio. To start
with we will set up the truck with a BB Chevy and powerglide to run
Super Comp and maybe a little Top Sportsman until our driver has enough
experience for the blown engine, then the trans is going to be a Bruno
Lenco 2 speed combination and the engine will be a blown alcohol 540cid
Chevy. The paint will be from Copeland Signs and painted with the Freedom
Rocks scheme.
